Go hang yourself...

Mugabe's expression "go hang yourself" has literally been adopted by my caterpillars - now it's less than two weeks for the imago's - the adult butterflies!

Caterpillars

Now I am about to share with you my Vanessa cardui, or 'Painted Lady' breeding project. I have 5 caterpillar’s of the Painted Lady species and they are now about to build themselves a pupa (chrysalis) hanging down from the ceiling inside their captivity box:

The first picture is about a week old and the last is today and you can see that two of caterpillars have already built their pupa and the two others are preparing - the fith is down on the floor eating...
In about a couple of weeks I should have the adult butterflies (imago)....
