Summer 2007 is over, its been great, my bike is parked in the garage for a long dark winter, but fortunately the fall has so far been dry and shining:

Austin, Texas

I just had the exciting pleasure of attending the IBM Academy annual meeting in Austin, Texas with lots of interesting people - and insects:
Austin is actually a very interesting place with lots of small bars and joints where young Stevie Ray Vaughan inspired musicians plays the blues... Austin is also famous for all the bats flying out under the bridge at sunset, although I found the bugs more interesting:

Swiss Alps and Alsace
This summer we did the Swiss alps and Alsace on my motorbike in best possible weather with breathtaking views, wonderful curvy roads, nice people and some very very good Alsace wines - and not to forget, the *** Michelin Auberge d'Lill restaurant in Illhausen:
Alsace was actually 'packed' with beautiful small towns, well maintained with lots of flowers and colours:

San Diego
I recently proudly received an award for my work within digital media and was invited together with Marianne to lovely San Diego to be honoured and receive the award:

As we stayed for a whole week we had lots of time cruising in our rented Mustang convertible and enjoy all what San Diego offers in great nature (La Jolla etc), shopping (Fashion valley) and restaurants and bars in the gas lamp district.
Obviously we also visited Sea World:
And of course I found some macroopportunities as well:
